The Melbourne School of Sport and Recreation Management (MSSRM) is a newly established training centre for the sport and recreation industry. As a business unit of the State Sport Centres Trust, we have the ability to draw on the expertise of two of Victoria’s premier sporting facilities the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre and the State Netball and Hockey Centre. We provide training, consultancy and career management services designed to benefit the industry at every level.

Based at Sports House in Albert Park, MSSRM provides the ideal launching pad for professionals looking to break into the sports industry, with a unique mix of education programs and services to put you a step ahead of the competition. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) we provide areas of training, education and professional development that are recognised widely by the sport and recreation industry and that provide participants with further career pathways.

Our affiliation with MSAC through the State Sport Centres Trust has seen the development of the traineeship program, providing employees with the qualification in Certificate III and IV Community Recreation whilst gaining valuable on the job experience.
